Hi there.
My name is Julio and I'm living in Seville, Spain.

I'm quite new in Twilight Struggle but it has fascinated me.
Indeed, I have arranged a kind of tournament with people in my city in order to play and learn better strategies.
I find theory's articles very interesting and I'm eager to read them all.

Good job!

In case you can read Spanish, I've also started a blog to write down and analyze my games during the tournament in a similar way of theory's annotated games.

My high school Spanish is somewhat rusty, but I think I can mostly follow along with you :)

Is that a Spanish version of TS?

Yes, it is the 2012 spanish edition by DEVIR.
It's like the deluxe one with optional cards including one especial spanish late-war card (not very relevant).

The spanish edition has created a huge hype in spanish community this year.

What's the new spanish Late War card?

Late War
NATO referendum*
Requires "NATO"
Each player rolls a die. The active players adds +1 to the result, and the one with most influence in Spain/Portugal also adds +1. In case of a tie, roll again. Winner get 1 VP and add 1 influence in Spain/Portugal. If winner is URSS player, also cancel "NATO" for Spain/Portugal.
Remove from play if used as event.

What do you think of this 1Ops card?

Looks like a decent way to try to eke out an Auto-Vic or get the one extra VP you need before playing Wargames.  Might also be a decent prelude to Brush War on Italy.
