Hi!

Is US forced to pick a card from discard pile and play the event if the pre-requisite is met?

Case: it's Turn 10 and before Turn 10 there was a re-shuffle. US Turn 10 headline: KAL007, USSR Turn 10 headline: Decolonization. On T10AR1 the discard pile contains only Decolonization. Provided US is ahead on Space Race, can USSR play Star Wars to force Decolonization happen again AND have 2 Ops in the same Action Round AND decide which comes first?

I guess that the US would be forced to play decol with no ops, only the event.

However the chance of that ever happening is as big as having the interational space station falling on top of your building while playing :P

Is this not an extremely corner case. And if so well played to the USSR player.
